Apple-based Fabrics: <3:20 - 11:40>
In this section, we discuss how apple-based materials are made, highlighting the Sozai Centre + Adam fabrics. We go through everything from collection and pulverization to sheet processing and discuss the complex view of using synthetic polymers versus natural materials to create innovative material solutions.
Coffee-based Fabrics: <11:40 - 21:42>
In this section, we discuss how coffee-based technical composite fibers are made, specifically how the SCafe material is created. We explain how it works, what these terms mean, and break down the processing methods to make them digestible and easy to understand.

DONATE TO INDIVIDUALS & FAMILIES IN GAZA
Original plan detailed in episode:
Donation goal was $100 for this episode. The original plan was to gather donations to be able to track how much is actually being donated per episode. Donations were to be pooled to go towards families and individuals affected by the wars in Gaza, bombing in Tehran, and towards Latinx communities affected by ICE mass deportations in the USA.
Receipts of donation were to be posted on episode shownotes (here) once the following episode/new cause begins. This would’ve included the GoFundMe link, highlighting my name in the donation cue with the amount that was donated.
However after receiving feedback that viewers prefer to donate directly to an organization or cause, this plan was abandoned shortly after the episode came out.
Moving forward, all episodes will include links to donate to causes directly. We may not be able to track how much our episodes pool for support, but we’ll continue to do whatever we can to make a difference for those who need it most.
