In this episode, I talk about my experience in the fashion education system and break down core issues that are hindering industry progress, fashion sustainability and innovation. I break things down from unsustainable teaching practices, outdated teaching methods, over-packed curriculums and more. Some being the integration of digital solutions when drafting or illustrating and embedding low waste techniques for all stages of design. I also discuss the importance of investing in innovative play, so that school can become a place that nurtures the minds of the future, rather than hinders them.
